They did not get the deposit back, but after many conversations, they canceled the bill for the second month. This is a brand new Briteview facility. Also something I never knew, the rooms are empty, you can either rent their furniture or bring your own bed & nightstand. This couple both 80 years of age opted to bring the furniture so as not to add extra expenses, Wife hired two men to take the furniture & matress to the NH, when they ousted husband wife was told she had 48 hours to remove everything or it would be donated to a thrift type shop. And that's where it ended up.

two pups that sounds like a billing error. They can't boot him out and bill him too. READ the admission document. The deposit should be refunded too.

A friend placed her husband in NH last month he has AD, he became aggressive to another resident & worker, they called. the police to come get him they took him to the closest ER, NH will not take him back! $4000 deposit, $7000 it's month $11,000 to place him, he was only there two weeks. She just received another bill from them for an additional $7000.

Usually they get sent to Memory Care, unless their behaviors and poor impulse control can be corrected with medications.

Probably.

Have you discussed the matter with the state Ombudsman?
