My sister is the caregiver for our Mom in Mom's home. Is my sister eligible for any kind of compensation?

Our mother has macular degeneration & glaucoma she does not drive.

Majority of grown children do not get paid for being caregivers to their parent unless the parent pays them from their own retirement fund.

Otherwise, you could contact your State Medicaid office to see if your mother could qualify.... if she can qualify, then Medicaid could send over a certified trained Caregiver to help out for a few hours a day. Some States, very few, have a small compensation program.
