My parents want to move back to NY State from FL, will NY give them elder assistance having lived in FL for 10+ years?
I am concern about possible residency requirements in NY that may not allow them elder benefits. They will soon need assistance in living. They grew up in New York.
We do not have the residency requirements for states here regarding elder benefits. You will need to contact the appropriate people in NY state yourself. Maybe they are online.
