Mom eats a full filling meal but maybe a couple of hours or less she wants to eat again. Any advice?

Even if she forgot that she ate, which I am sure she did, wouldn't she still feel full? I hope that makes some kind of sense since this happens a lot. I mentioned this in the whine moment but I want to ask it as a question.

With dementia all kinds of signals to the brain get dropped or misinterpreted. It is not surprising that messages about hunger get messed up, too.

Could you plan for frequent small meals instead of larger ones spaced out? At least while this phase lasts?

Although we don't have this problem here, just the opposite in fact, I googled "why Alzheimer's patients are always hungry". Found a very good article on alzheimers reading room website. hope this helps...
