Do I have any rights to my mother-in-law who I have lived with for 6 yrs.?

My husband and I take care of her. She is 85 with dementia. My husband passed away a week ago in an accident. She has a 73 year old brother with dementia and 3grandchildren, 2 of which are in prison. also a bunch of nieces and nephews. What can I do?

I am so sorry about your husband's fatal accident. Please accept my condolences.

What kind of "rights" are you thinking of? Do you want her to continue to live with you? Is anyone trying to interfere with that? Are you concerned about rights to inheritance or managing her money? If you can spell out your concerns in a little more detail, someone will probably be able to give you good suggestions.
