Does a facility allow pets?

My Mother in law is legally blind, although she can see some. She lives in her own home now with her dog. She has helpers come in 6 days a week for about 5 hours a day. She lives in Lexington, Ky and we are her only family. Would like to get her down here, closer to us. We live in McCalla.

Oh...they also don't charge him extra for a pet. That's nice.

I can only speak to one AL that my dad is in here in Utah. He can have a cat or small dog, but has to be able to take care of his pet. (Take dog out for walks several times a day or clean out cat litter box, feed, water, etc.) He has to be able to do those things himself or I have to do it for him. Nursing staff doesn't take care of pets in any way.
