My grandpa is suffering from Alz. and is now starting to wander. Any advice?

I just recently received a few baby monitors with cameras to help us out. I'm his full time caregiver, so during the day he's good to go, but I need sleep too! I'm hoping that the baby monitors will help out.

I was also thinking of putting a motion detector outside of his door and perhaps double bolting the front door.

Am I heading in the right direction?! Any advice would be fantastic!

Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

A motion detector and double bolts are a good idea. I've also heard of people getting a bracelet for their wandering loved one that has contact information engraved on it in case someone gets outside.
