Does power of attorney include finances?

Im out of the nursing home now that the son i gave the right to pow for me to do i thought it was just for medical. and we didnt sign anything in front of a judge we signed them in one of his friends backyard. after they doped me up first and also got me to sign my home over to him. he never took are of me finacially or came to see me or nothing. and he put me in a nursing home after we signed those papers. Im just wondering if i have a legal case against him?he is really mad at me now cause ive tried to get him to bring the stuff i had at the house where im living with my other son now. he said i can get my oldest son to take over pow for me.please send me in the right area to handle this mess.
