My Mom (92) is normally alert but she started to think people are trying to poison her in the NH. Any advice?

The doctor said she has a water infection but nobody did a water test on her whilst I was there she was crying and telling me to go home while I can I can't stop crying as it breaks my heart to see her like this normally she is fine. She is paralised from the waist down and has to stay in the wheelchair as she doesn't like he hoist as she says it hurts her when they use it

I assume that a water infection means an infection of her urinary tract. The doctor should find out what type of bacteria is causing this and prescribe the right antibiotics. If this her first infection, get a grip on yourself....she may have more of them. If she gets delusional in the future always have them test her for this type of infection.
