Could my husband's paranoia after his stroke be the cause of why I can't go out and talk to our carpenter?

Can't talk to him about anything without him getting upset. I am a social person who tries to get along with most people. He thinks that because the carpenter is younger and can do what he can't I'm going to run off with him. I've told him that isn't the case because when we got married, I took my wedding vows seriously.

Sorry, carpenter. This is more about his internal reality than anything going on externally. The stroke will have affected him mentally as well as physically. Learn and find a way to meet your social needs that avoid driving him up the wall.

Well, yes. You need to get better in tune with the mental changes that can come with damage to the brain. Read up on it, contact a support group, talk to a doctor and learn to adapt. This is not about you and the younger farpenter
