Both my husband and I are disabled. I no longer drive and we will be needing transportation soon. Any ideas?

Does any know who may provide transportation from Topeka to Leavenworth at a reasonable price? He will not be able to drive due to a medical procedure. The bus that transports from the VA hospital here in Topeka leaves to late in order for us to arrive on time. Any help is appreciated.

I've looked at both Amtrak and Greyhound and it looks like neither one offers transportation directly between the two cities.

You could contact your faith community, if you're a church goer to see if anyone would be willing to help you out. Or since your husband is a veteran, contact the local veterans groups to see if someone could help you out. Good luck!

I'm assuming family isn't an option. How about a neighbor? If you just need one-way transportation, it's about 2-1/2 hours of someone's time round-trip, isn't it? Seems to me a neighbor might jump at it if you offered $50. *shrug*
