My Mom has had depression all her life, Now that Dad passed in 2011. She sleeps all day till 3-4 pm. She says she is at peace. She has diabetes, and some arthritis in her back. ( I think for living in bed). Assisted Living does not try to encourage her, even though they are short staffed, it costs $59,000 per year. She is not kept clean, her room is dusty. Vermont does not have only a few Assisted Living places, this one is suppose to be the best........
