Does Medicare/HNE pay for any nursing homes for both my parents?

My father has dementia and my monther has R/A and has a trachea. My mother needs someone to clean her trachea twice a day. Plus she has R/A all through her body. Limited mobility. Needs help bathing and preparing meals and medication care. My father has progressing demenia. He's mobile, but is getting very forgetful. He is hard of hearing. He can't use the phone. It's just becoming too much for my 2 other siblings and I to handle. Is any of this kind of care covered? we are also waiting to hear back from Masshealth and frail elderly waiver.

Medicare covers visiting nurses for 60 days after a hospital admission. If Dad was a wartime veteran, he may qualify for VA Aid & Attendance. See the tab above "Money and Legal" and click on Veterans Assistance.
