Has anyone read Still Alice?

I was wondering if this would help my mother understand the dementia process a little better since my dad is 91 and I am pretty sure he has it (wandering at 2 or 3 am), constantly moving stuff around, not remembering how something got somewhere else in house, etc.? She is 86 and its hard for her to grasp some days when he recounts stuff, asks the same questions, etc. My age group knows of this disease but the age group of 70 + don't seem to understand fully what its all about. I have an appt set up for him in July to see someone to get a more better diagnosis and decision if nursing home is the best thing since my mother is having a hard time dealing with the bad days.

Still Alice was an excellent book, but with your mom's age I wonder if she would be able to grasp it. Maybe she is developing some dementia as well?

There are so many videos on YouTube about dementia that are short, maybe some of those would help. Also, Teepa Snow has many short videos on YouTube.
