I'm getting Aid and Attendance for Dad with dementia and has been in a state run VA home . When I bring him home can I get A and A?

I will be bringing my dad home from a state run VA home and will need to keep him secure since he will walk away . he needs constant care for feeding and bathing etc.. will I still be able to keep my full benefit money for his care.. I am getting the max amount from the VA of 1758.00 Aid and Attendance. I can not find any clear cut answers on the va site. I am Fudicary.. POA and Payee for RR benefits..

That is totally up to the VA. The MD would have to continue the 2680 form specifying needs for ADL. You need to know for sure, in writing, if you will be getting the aid. Don't bring him home if you don't have the answer in writing from the VA, and realize this is a 24/7 job with no time off, not a minute.
