How do I get a copy of POA?

jg, you are usually right on. I worked for an attorney for some years, A POA may be filed in some states, every state dances to the beat of different drummers.
there can also be different categories for POAs and surrogates. Helpme, who do you think has been named? I would start there and see who did it, doesn't have to an attorney, I'm a notary and can do POAs and God forbid, even marry people. CPAs can do full will packages also. Are you having an issue with family members and can't communicate with them which sucks. I would start there though and also ask your LO if they know who did it. Tough situation. Best of luck
