Is there a cable provider that only allows you to view the channels you pay for?

My 84 yr old mom gets confused not being able to keep track.

Both of those are good suggestions. I made up a card with the channels my parents liked and had it by the remote. So they could figure out how to get to those channels. You could also stick in to the remote.

I put the 8-10 channels Mom likes on FAVS. This way she only has to know that button, and can usually find something. She can turn it on and off, and mute....but otherwise she is lost with all those buttons.

I don't think so. But there's usually a way for you to go into the menu and block stations that you don't want kids to see. You might check to see if this is included on your Mom's cable and just block those channels she never watches.
