I left my job to take care of my Mom that has Dementia. Can I get any kind of help for Insurance?

Can I get Medicaid.

States like Ohio are wonderful. The state where I live, Alabama, didn't cooperate with the new healthcare laws, making it difficult for residents. Thank you for pointing her in the right direction, Madeaa. The new healthcare insurance laws certainly help people who don't have much money.

Your profile says Ohio, so go to benefits.ohio.gov - Ohio residents medicaid as of Jan 1, 2014 benefits have been extended to include more people, full information is available on your ohio med site under ohions tab

Are you living in the USA? Have you applied for insurance with healthcare.gov? If you have no insurance and little savings, chances are that you can qualify for Medicaid. If you have some income, chances are that you can qualify for a federal subsidy. As a good starting point, go to healthcare.gov.
