Is there any way of getting financial assistance now that my Mom has moved in with me?

My mother was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer, and she has since moved into my home. There is someone always at home to assist her. Our monthly expenses have doubled since she came. By the time she pays her bills, (insurance, life insurance, medicines, etc.) there is hardly anything left. Are there any programs available where I could get financial assistance to care for her? If so, who could I contact?
