How do you keep a senior with mild dementia from swallowing down the wring windpipe?
Is there a way to assist seniors in swallowing water and food in the wrong windpipe?

I got thick0it and it works. I also tried protein meal drinks in with pureeded oatmeal and it thickened it right up. Sometimes mom has pina collada flavored oatmeal/. LOL

You need to change the diet to pureed meals.... and use Thick-it in the liquids.
