My husband is terminal, he can't talk or walk, but likes to go to the grocery store once a week . Would hospice still help?

He has a progressive brain disease called PSP , besides COPD and a myriad of other problems. Slowly getting worse. I use a hoyer lift to move him. He sleeps in a hospital bed now. Was sleeping in his lift chair the past 5 years. He too is always making constant demands from me seems like the minute I sit down he wants something else and I can't understand 95% of what is is saying. He swore I was going deaf and needed hearing aids until I taped him talking to me and played it back to him. We do have some good laughs when I ask him if this is what he said.
Right now just not sure about calling hospice.
