What qualifications are necessary to be compensated by LTC for services?
It may become necessary to move my parents into a condo with some outside care. They have a grand daughter that would love to assist. What qualifications would she need to have to be compensated for her services by the LTC Insurance Company?
That depends on the insurance company. They may insist that the person be a Certified Nursing Assistant, but likely they won't. Check with them. They may be delighted to pay someone not certified but they would pay less. Each policy is different. Take care, Carol
