My husband needs oxygen for cluster headaches that cause vision loss. Should we apply for Social Security Disability?

My husband has to have oxygen 3xs a day for cluster headaches. Should we apply for ssi? He looses vision with these headaches? He's a chef by trade and has to have oxygen. There's no way an employer in a restaurant in their mind will hire him. Please help us
