How much will it cost with hospice and without Medicare help for facility?
My husband was removed from dialysis and placed in hospice care yesterday. He can't come here to die. I would go first that way. I need him in a facility.
Most insurance covers hospice. I hope you have some kind of insurance. Medicaid covers hospice, if he qualifies for that. If he's too young for Medicare (nearly everyone who applies who is over 65 gets Medicare A without a premium), and he has no insurance whatever, check with Hospice. They should have some guidelines.
