My dad now lives with me since he does not like to live alone. How much is fair for him to pay monthly?
he owns his own home.. my brother recently moved out with his girlfriend .. he does not like to live alone and recently had surgery.. so he moved in with me and we decided to rent his house out.. how much is fair for him to pay monthly..
Can't you look at your water, gas, electric, phone etc. bills BEFORE dad moved in, to see what the difference is now that he HAS, and use that to decide how much he should be chipping in? Plus don't forget extra groceries now, and the gas you use to shuffle him around. That's what I would do.
