It depends a lot on where you live and whether or not your mom is on Medicaid. You aren't likely to replace a job with any pay you could get. Type "aging" in the search box and then look at the links. You can see what local help is available. You also should find a version of the National Family Caregiver Support program. If you contact these folks, they may be able to guide you on local policies.
