My 96-year-old mother has extremely low platelets (below 22,000). I've opted out of not having her receive any treatment Was this a wise decision?

Are you thinking that this is a DNR type of thing, or is it just something to keep her feeling as good as she can at her age? My grandmas platelets started falling about the same time she started having small strokes. If there had been a way to keep them up and her NOT to have those stupid strokes, we sure would've done it. But the doctors caught it too late.
