What can I do when my grandmother blames me for everything she can't remember?

My experience with my 81 year old mother improved when she was placed back on her digoxin (the hospital stopped all meds when she had a stroke). Using her oxygen when she's in bed (a lot) seems to help some. My mother only has dementia. Alzheimer's patients progressively get more combative, I think.
