That's a loaded question. Things you didn't share. How mentally fit is she? Can she stand, walk by herself? How much "heavy lifting" is involved in caring for her? Is she bedridden?
So, with all her health problems, med control is important, as is checking blood sugar and managing diet.
She'll have to use Poise pads or Depends to help control leakage. For my Mom, both her BP and bladder meds caused dementia symptoms.
This may be a case where you show up to help her, and never leave. Just a note, get her to exercise to keep up her walking/balance/standing skills...and work with hand weights to keep up arm and hand strength. Mom has trouble lifting a filled sippy cup, so didn't drink the protein drink. Good thing I discovered the weight problem; it wasn't a swallowing or "won't drink it" problem.
