Where can I obtain a copy of my father's Military Discharge papers?

I'd contact your local VA. They should have a way of tracing them through his Social Security number or they could tell you how to go about it.

I recently had to do this!!!
You will need full name, social security number and approximate dates of service as well as which branch he was in. The process was relatively painless!!
