Well well well finally after decade+, the nonexempt asset limit (aka the resource limit) is increasing this year. For most States, it’s moved from 2K to 4K for an individual LTC Medicaid applicant/ recipient.
The monthly income max too has increased. From $2,901 to $2,982 (before deductions). Community Spouse resource max (Federally) is $162,600.
Again this is for most States. However, as each State administers its Medicaid program uniquely, YMMV.
And remember the $$$ is just part of the eligibility process. They still have to medically show with health chart documentation “at need” medically for skilled nursing care in a facility
