This is for you. Yes, you. You’re doing a great job. You’re amazing. You’re loving and selfless. You’re also human with your own needs. I see you and from one caregiver to another, thank you! You’re doing noble invisible work. Reach out when you need help. Even if it’s just needing someone to listen to you vent. Ok, back to reading the forum resources on dementia for me and my dad. Go forth, caregivers!

YoungestOneof4 you really struck a chord with me.  I actually needed to hear this.  I don't caretake my brother for accolades nor do I feel I am doing anything special.  I feel I am blessed that I can do it and afterall, he's my brother.  But your post really struck me.  Thank you for your encouragement and acknowledgement.  And right back at you!
