OK, kids. Here's a new one. I think I have, at my age, seen every phishing scam out there, but today in my email came something new, and it claims to be from AgingCare.
Starts with a big placard proclaiming "We Appeciate You", and goes on with "we hope you enjoy this Amazon Gift Card with our thanks." Then tells you how to "claim" you card with a claim code. It has an actual person's name on it (Joseph B_______). Tells you how to sign up for Amazon if you are not already a member.
SO, I am a member and love Amazon Kindle, and often mention books about Aging Care that are cheap on that venue.
However, I am not biting on this one yet. I figure next they will want my Social Security number, charge card number, and first born child.
Aging Care, is this for real, or is this simple another scheme made easy by our Social Media connections in these days?
Anyone else getting lots of love from Amazon, or seeing a phishing line in the waters?
How DID I become so jaded that I don't believe in anything????
