When siblings can't agree on how to care for their parent(s), find a mediator.

This is from a WSJ article I just read:

Mediate.com lists individuals in private practice by state and city.

Directories of mediators:

Apfmnet.org (The Academy of Professional Family Mediators)

Acrnet.org (Association for Conflict Resolution)

Alva, I have a subscription, so here is the link and hoping all can access it. It's not a long article, the author answers readers' questions about senior issues, so there's Medicare question below this article that is unrelated. The author is Glenn Ruffenach and I believe he is a regular writer on this topic for the WSJ.

Wow!~ This is my pet peeve. As a nurse I so often saw family, usually siblings at war quite literally over the still alive bodies of their loved ones. You cannot imagine the suffering of a senior being pulled to pieces when at their most weak. What an EXCELLENT EXCELLENT idea this is. Thanks so much for this post. If you have a link to this article I would just love it. I am writing down the websites; this will greatly shorten my frustration laden responses to Siblings At War.
