This really sums it all up. Being a 24/ 7 caretaker with quarantine on top if that. I call it double quarantine.

The crazy Covid mess has truly has put a magnifying glass over an already tough situation. External Caregivers are sincerely on the front lines, risking life, limb and family. But I feel like the precious Caregivers stuck at home with their little patients are also heroes. It's become a nerve-wracking, gut-wrenching dilemma...inside the house...and out. I wish they'd find a vaccine for this mess and life could return to some type of normalcy. :0( My heart is with you guys...

I'm lucky I guess because I can leave my dad for an hour or so. I received a call from home care worker saying that I was eligible for respite care. I said ' well where would I go?' The local parks are still open, luckily, but not much else except for grocery.

I agree, I can't even take a fifteen minute walk around the neighborhood because I can't leave my mom alone. Have to get everything delivered. Plus my state (WI) is on stay-at-home orders until Memorial Day.
