My husband and I take care of his mom in our home due to his father's inability to handle her dementia and other health issues. This past week father has been visiting here and last night we all went out to dinner with our adult son who is their only grandchild. Anyway we had gotten seated and were perusing menus when an elderly gentleman with a cane was preparing to leave. He had 2 older ladies with him. As he was walking by us he stopped right next to my MIL, smiled at her and said "Hello." She smiled back and replied hello back to him. He then said "You're beautiful!" She responds, "Well, let me give you some money."😂 He then said "You're all beautiful," wished us a nice evening and went on his way with his 2 ladies following behind.
I thought he was incredibly sweet and just felt like sharing this day brightener.
