The time has come were my mom is no longer able to stay in our home due to her Alzheimers progressing. Her three doctors are all in agreement that she needs to be placed in a ALF for Alzheimer/Demetia patients. When my brother and I sat down with her and the neurologist to discuss this, mom refused to even listen.
She says that if she goes to such a place it will kill her. We want her to be a part of making the decision on the home she goes to. How do we get her used to the idea?
