Dad Is in his last year of claim reimbursements, but still has $ left. It looks like (per LTC website) the facility’s Business “manager” didn’t send the last three invoices for reimbursement. I was out of town when the one and only notice I got from LTC dated March 3 was delivered and got covered up on my desk. My bad for not seeing it. They said they would close the claim in 30 days…of course no one is there on the weekend so I can’t get answers or reassurance til 5 am tomorrow. meanwhile, I am waiting to see the business mgr now. Last I heard before I left the house was that he was waiting to get the director or whoever to approve the submission(s) for missed months. Am freaking out, I am as mad at myself as I am at him. has this ever happened to any of you, and how did it turn out? Thanks

I hate snail mail...

They waste time sending stuff snail mail that can easily get lost and then give deadlines. In the meantime the snail mail methodology has eaten up precious time. So inefficient. I hope you can get it all resolved.

You should talk with the LTC company and find out what they need exactly. The business manager at the facility may not know. Something similar happened to me, and I went over the business manager’s head to the director of the facility. He immediately got on the business manager’s case and it was taken care of that same day. Money followed.
