How do I find my mother who has become a ward of the state in Washington State?

She's been been missing since April of 2020 and we don't know how to find her exactly we believe she's an orting Washington.

Start in the county where she lived last.

Bandy7, in the experience with my stepFIL everything was done through the county. Then the actual guardian was Lutheran Social Services. Not sure if this info helps clarify. I think each state has their own laws about it.
