I found this link on Google but I can't get onto the site - I hope it's only because I'm trying to access it from outside the USA and it will work for you.

I used a company called Carepatrol. There may be one in your area.

google senior placement specialist

the company above will know what’s available in your area. Cost so on and so forth. I used an independent company , when my mom lived in Arizona, I used carepatrol when I moved her to Wisconsin. They do all the work. You don’t pay them, they get paid by the place of placement.

APlaceforMom.com helped me find an excellent nursing home for my mother. You should have a sense of what type of care she needs.

Are you your mom's PoA? Facility placement is very expensive. Once you find out the cost for her then consider consulting with a Medicaid Planner or elder law/estate planning attorney. The facility will assess her to see if she needs AL, MC or LTC.

On the right hand side of the screen, there are two blue boxes.

One titled Find Care & Housing, you can put in your info and search for places near you.

The other box has a picture of Karen/Care Advisor. You can click on the Get Free Help button at the bottom of that box to get help.
