How can I get help with incontinence supplies?

I am 100% disabled. I've been in a skilled nursing facility for over 3 months. Now I am in my home. I've only been on Medicare for a year. I cannot afford adult diapers and bed pads.

If you have a friend that can shop for you, I have found that my local Goodwill store often has those kind of supplies for a fraction of the retail cost.

Call 211 to see what may be available in your area. Most cities have diaper banks for both children and adults and a lot of food banks also provide diapers for both for free.

Medicare does not pay for incontinence supplied. I think Medicaid does and I know Hospice does.
Perhaps contact your Area Agency on Aging. There is one in every county, sometimes known as senior services.
You can find their website and get a general idea of the services they offer.
Call and let them do an evaluation for which services you might qualify for.
