I have a client on medicaid/Medicare. Says their gas to go to the doctors was covered by medi/medi. Is this true or should I be charging them for this simple task?
Medicaid, in my state, pays an agency to take recipients to doctor visits. My nephew is signed up with one of these agencies but he has never had to use them.
Google tells me that in some states Medicaid will reimburse for gas/mileage for medical appointments. So check your state rules and if so, the procedures for getting the reimbursement.
