Seems husband is bedbound at this point? I may ask his doctor for a catheter. Maybe get some in home help. It may not be much but you will have an RN to check the catheter and an aide to bath him 2 or 3x a week. Is your husband terminal? If so, Hospice may be a help. You get the aide and pain drugs to keep him comfortable.
I am sorry not to know what mm is, but whatever it is, if hubby sleeps too long in saturated incontinent wear the skin will break down. It is very likely that your gently rolling him to change will get the job done and see him back asleep in no time. I agree with others it is important to have really good incontinent wear that can hold a lot and still keep skin area dryer and more protected.
What is mm? Are you using a good brand of overnight disposable briefs and a chuck to protect the mattress? If he is too weak, then maybe it would be too difficult for you to help put a fresh brief on?
