I'm looking to find a way to take care of my mom who is living with me now that she has dementia. Is there a way to be paid for it?

Is your mom on Medicaid (not Medicare)? If so, some states have a program called In Home Supportive Services, where a person who qualifies for caregiving can choose a friend or family member to be their caregiver and be paid for it. My understanding is that the pay in this program is low and the hours not necessarily full time.
