94yr old mother sleeps most of the day and appetite has lessened. Is anyone else experiencing this with their parents?

Yes. Low appetite and increased sleep very common to elders.
Look it up online; a lot of material there for you.

End of life looks exactly like this. You don't mention your mother's health conditions, but call her doctor to see if a hospice evaluation is in order.

I don’t know what’s mothers diagnosis are, but the closer to death an elderly gets, they start to sleep more and eat less. But also, if she’s not burning a bunch of energy on a daily basis, her body might not need as much food as before. It could be she’s coming down with something. There’s several things it could be. But what I learned, is don’t pester them to eat. They will eat if they are hungry enough. My father in law pesters my mother in law, and now it’s to the point where she’s going to always refuse to eat for him cause he has annoyed her with it. What works best for me to encourage my mother in law to eat, having a meal available around the same times each day, preparing the plate nice, and setting it infront of her. I let it be HER choice to eat or not. Also seeing and smelling food will attract her to it if she says no to eating. Every time I’ve done this, she will eat. Sometimes just several bites. Sometimes the whole plate. I would talk with mothers doctor to get a better idea of what might be going on with mom
