Hearing tips for mom.

Is there any such thing as walkie-talkie earplugs for elderly with hearing challenges? Something I can put in her ear that connects or Bluetooth to a microphone for quick/easy conversation. Done with hearing aids and yelling.🤦🏽‍♀️

Apple and others say it's coming up with new tech and earbuds with programming.
I would imagine to get this tech into earbuds would be a good thing, but would also require that someone be a bit --at least-- tech savvy?

My mom is experiencing hearing loss to. Her Medicare pays for the ear exam but not a hearing aid. Are there any decent OTC hearing aid?

It's been a while since I researched this but what I learned was the mid priced hearing aids ($500ish) were essentially what was state of the art a decade or so ago, they just don't have all the bells and whistles that modern high end hearing aids do. But do your own research before you put up any money and be sure to look for service and return policies
