How long should I wait to get hoisted to bed after eating?
HI I am a disabled full-time wheelchair user age 29 nearly 30 I am just wanting to ask how long should I wait to get hoisted in to my bed after eating as my home hospital bed let's me sit up and lie down and it let me put the legs up a bit.
I think your position, whether in chair or in bed, should be upright for at least several hours after eating. Much depends on weight, on intake, on the individual digestion. So consult on this with your doc.
