How do you cope having to live with a grandparent that has everyone up all night every night then having to get up and get through the day?

You cope by moving out, whether with a friend or another family member, or having said grandparent placed in the appropriate facility. A grandchild is not nor should ever be responsible for their grandparents care. Period.

Sleep issues happen, and are almost impossible to change due to the fact that medications to promote sleep often don't work, or work too well; that is to say the elder becomes unstable on feet and has falls.

There comes a time when home care is no longer possible, and when a person needs the care and monitoring of several shifts of people with several people on each shift.
I think you are there.
It's time to consider placement now.

More info would be helpful .
Does your grandparent have dementia , pain , breathing problems ? What is the cause of not sleeping well ?

Has the doctor been told about this . What has been tried ?

Perhaps an aide at night could help ? Or perhaps placing grandparent in a facility may be needed ?

The rest of you need sleep , you can’t just cope on no sleep .
