Both my husbands were in the service. Don't I qualify for some VA help?

As said, for Aides and Attendance you cannot be divorced. The Vet has to have served during Wartime. You have to have some Medical need. Its income based.

Only those Vets that served 20 yrs get Pensions. And the Wife has to be married to them during the time they served, I think is how it goes. You will need discharge papers from both. And probably marriage certificates. Social Security numbers. If no discharge papers, the rep maybe able to call up records with SS#.

As said, make an appt with your County VA office and talk to a representative.

If you did not have a divorce, you may be available for Aid and Attendance. There may be other benefits which all depend on your unique situation - financially, their time in service, length of the marriage, etc. Contact your local VA Office of Veterans Affairs... I think there is one in every county. They should have a Veterans Service Rep. that can answer all your questions and give you guidance and even assist you and filing a claim for whatever benefits you may be eligible.
