You may need to take some family leave. They can't fire you if your on it. You can take the time in increments.
Is Mom on Medicaid "in home care". Because they provide aides thru agencies or some States are paying a family member to care for a LO. All I can say, is you need to call agencies in your area and see if they can send someone out.
Contact agencies and ask how quickly they can begin. In most cases a "good" agency will want to do an assessment as to what care is needed, the safety of the home for both their workers and the client. To do that might take a few days. You can explain that the need for a caregiver is urgent and that might expedite things but probably not by much.
We aren't an employment site. Try contacting Medicaid (you will be on hold for a long time but you will get answers), or Care.com to hire an in-home aid or your local Area Agency on Aging for resources and guidance.
